Whether conspiracy or conspiracy theory, it's hard to deny accountability for the assassination attempt when you characterize Trump as a new Hitler. For any politician who has described Trump as the biggest threat to Democracy and freedom,, there is at the very least a modicum of blame for what happened in Butler Pennsylvania. The same can be said about the news organizations that broadcast the opinions of Trump's political rivals unfiltered, without context and without any sort of pushback or any rebuttal to such claims.
In the same manner that news sources are accountable for Trump's ascension to the Presidency by providing the equivalence of 1.5 billion dollars of free air time on their networks, so too are they guilty of radicalizing the gunman who attempted to take the former president's life. For any sympathies to come from politicians like Joe Biden, or any news source like MSNBC, there is an aire of disingenuousness that must permeate within. To a nation with leaders as divisive as have been witnessed in America for decades (if not longer), their thoughts and prayers for Trump must feel as hollow as the thoughts and prayers for family members of fallen soldiers sound when coming from the same president who illegally committed America to the war that took their family member's life.
Perhaps we should hold all leaders accountable for their actions and deeds instead of their words. Maybe American voters should rely on their eyes and ears to discern fact from fiction when it comes to electing those who represent them. It might be wiser to educate one's self of a candidate's record or a news source's historical accuracy then to blindly follow or believe words meant only to keep knives at each other's throats.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups, or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare, and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", I provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they choose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those for whom they care.
