Why are Americans so gullible as to fall for multilevel market scams and why does the U.S. Government allow such businesses to exist?
Whenevet someone tries to get me to attend some meeting for "the best opportunity ever", I ask one question first.
Are there 24-hour operators standing by to answer any questions when you get stuck on your way to fortune?
And when they inevitably answer in the affirmative. I follow up with the following question.
If this is the opportunity from which you can get rich, how can they keep a staff of operators who know how to use it to get rich?
Sometimes this is enough to stop people from paying a franchise fee or whatever other costs they say is necessary to get rich, but not always. Like someone once said "There's a sucker born every minute."
After attempting to save a friend from themselves, I ask myself how a Government can allow such businesses that are so blatantly acammy exist? To date the only reason I've come up with is corruption. Not just the blatant corruption of the business, but the corruption that must be prevalent in any Government that allows such businesses to exist. I conclude that, if the highest office in the land (the President) is corrupt, every office below it must be corrupt to survive.
And, if we're going to point out things that indicate corruption in Government proliferating throughout the business world, we have to consider things like 1% mortgages to buy a house. For companies to be allowed to offer such small down payments, the Government must ignore what such low down payments implies. If you can only afford to put one percent down means you can't put more down. This means that you have no savings for a rainy day like loss of employment, which means there's a higher probability of losing the house and any money the buyer put into the house. My prediction is that home buying for many will resemble the "Buy here. Pay here. " used car dealerships where people put a down payment on a car that gets repossessed months later, due to default. The kind of dealership that sells the same car over and over again. Instead of cars, homes will be sold over and over again. The only thing worse than the business owners who commit such heinous acts are the government eadsrs who allow it to occur.
There are of course many more examples, but there's no need for me to point them out. You can simply look into any business you consider suspect. Or you could simply throw a rock at any financial institution to find corruption in our economy.
In 2018, I wrote a book highlighting the problems Humanity would face if more power, wealth, and control was funneled to a small group of elite individuals, groups or organizations. In my book, I provided solutions (from myself and others) to the inevitable problems and also a means for the Public to analyze, compare and contrast the words and deeds of those we choose to follow against reality. In my book Solutions: Enough complaining. Let's fix America.
In "Solutions...", provide the means for readers to disseminate information as provided by their news sources of choice, their elected officials, and any other authority they chose to follow. The book also offers a means to hold their leaders up, not just to a higher standard than is currently accepted but to one that would improve their lives and the lives of those they care for.
